Lecture: The Three Keys to Guiding Children

Please join us on August 8th at 8PM for a Zoom talk on "The Three Keys to Guiding Children" with parenting coach Tom Limbert.

Local author and Parent Coach, Tom Limbert is excited to share his latest talk with our PMC families titled, The Three Keys to Guiding Children. In this presentation, Tom condenses his thirty-two years of working with children and families covering such topics as growth mindset, building a culture of respect and promoting emotional development and intelligence. Tom explains how these can all make gaining a child's cooperation–and parenting as a whole–easier and more effective. In one hour, you will gain practical tools and strategies that will make your home and relationships more harmonious and cohesive!

About Tom:

• MA in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development from Mills College
• Ten years as a Head Teacher at Stanford University's Bing Nursery School working with families from all over the world as well as training and evaluating Stanford Psychology students
• One year teaching kindergarten at a K-8 school for gifted children
• One year as Director of Student Life at a K-8 school for gifted children
• Eight years as a Preschool Director
• Nine years serving on administration boards of K-8 schools
• Four years serving as SEL Lead and Parent Ed Coordinator at K-8 schools
• Twelve years as a Parent Educator leading workshops on discipline, SEL, fatherhood, and raising boys
