The PMC is hosting a pottery painting party in support of 1000 Bowls Petaluma! Join us in supporting Petaluma People Services Center Senior Nutrition Programs and the Petaluma Bounty program!

How it works:

You choose a bowl to paint for a donation of $20 *you can pay by cash, check or QR code
You decide if you want to keep the bowl you paint for $25, or have it auctioned off at the event on November 24th at the Petaluma Hotel
As a "Community Artist", you get to attend the event for free! Come have a bowl of soup, see all the beautiful bowls, and bid on the bowl of your choice
Know that by participating in this program, you helped at least one person get access to food they need

About 1000 Bowls:
This is an awareness raising event to help address hunger in our community. This effort directly supports PPSC’s programs that bring healthy meals to our community’s most vulnerable and food insecure individuals. Thousands of people in Sonoma County struggle in poverty. Increasingly, more home-bound seniors are receiving a hot meal (and daily security check) every day from our Meals on Wheels program. The number of seniors, families and individuals in Petaluma who are “food insecure” is astonishing.
