The winter holidays are meant to bring joy and connection—right? But what happens when the holiday hustle leaves us feeling frazzled instead of festive? Between hosting family, tackling endless to-do lists, managing meals, and stretching PTO while patchworking together childcare, it’s no surprise the season can feel overwhelming.

This workshop, Parenting During the Holidays, is here to help. Join us to discover practical tips for staying grounded, flexible, and joyful amidst the holiday chaos. Led by Gwendolyn Watson, a licensed marriage and family therapist (and fellow mom and PMC member), the session will cover the greatest hits of emotional regulation: strategies from DBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you stay connected to loved ones—even when the season feels like it’s throwing snowballs your way.

About Gwendolyn:

Gwendolyn Watson is a licensed marriage and family therapist with experience in schools, clinics, and residential treatment centers for teens navigating emotional dysregulation, substance use, and PTSD. Now in private practice in Petaluma, she help individuals and couples build meaningful connections using EMDR, ACT, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Originally from Boston, she moved to California for school and settled in Petaluma during the pandemic. She's a mom of two boys, ages 5 and 7, and love dance parties, outdoor adventures, and cul-de-sac soccer games.
